Captain's Fury by Jim Butcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Where to start? Tavi finds out who he really is as his fury's develop further. He also learns that he's no longer safe because of his true identity, he should be used to that considering he's never been far from danger. The puppet Senator Arnos is frankly a douche and does his best to displace Tavi as the captain of the First Aleran Legion. To save lives Tavi makes difficult decisions including a Juris Macto, in turn his trusted advisor Valiar Marcus must decide who he'll truly follow. During all of this Amara, Bernard, and First Lord Sextus confront Kalare.
Quite a lot is packed into the forth book of this series. I read this one very quickly, that's what happens when you've got too much free time on a flight. The book was filled with treachery, but in the society Jim Butcher has created, that's to be expected. Again I love the writing style Butcher's been using throughout this series. I can't wait to move on to the Princep's Fury.
