Saga, Volume 2

Saga, Volume 2Saga, Volume 2 by Brian K. Vaughan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I borrowed Saga Volume 1 from my local library. I decided to buy copies of Volumes 1 and 2 while I was in a comic shop of sorts over the weekend. Volume 2 was just as good as Volume 1, it picked up essentially where Volume 1 left off.

The story is narrated by Hazel, Marco and Alana's daughter. She's only a baby in the story, but her narration is full of smart humor and sarcasm. Marco and his mother leave the ship to find their disembodied baby-sitter, while Alana and Marco's dad get to know each other. Gwendolyn, Marco's ex-fiancee meets up with The Will and Lying Cat all the while Prince Robot IV lurks in the background tracking the couple.

I'm looking forward to volume 3, I will be picking it up so soon as it’s available on Amazon.
